Description   Disney Trading Pin 42010 Walt's Legacy Collection (Monorail) When Walt Disney was planning the Disneyland Park the early 1950's, monorail systems in Germany caught his attention. Originally known as the Disneyland-Alweg Monorail System, this Tomorrowland attraction opened at Disneyland; on June 14, 1959 as the first daily operating monorail in the United States. This pin features a red and white monorail train as a pin-on-pin with Ludwig Von Drake and an image of Walt Disney with a Monorail train. The Matterhorn mountain is seen in the background. This pin was designed by Artist Lin Shih from Disney Design Group. SIZE: approx. 1.75" W x 1.75" H.
